Top Email Marketing Secrets Revealed

Every successful internet marketer is continuously building a list of subscribers to market their products or services via email. This is the way you can build trust and rapport with your followers. Sadly, more than 90% of marketers have no idea how to market through email effectively. Again, I must emphasize that your email list is how you build trust and rapport with your followers. Notice I did not say that it is how you sell to your followers. However, you can make a lot of money from your list if you market to them the right way.
First, don’t use automated follow up emails for a long time. It is ok to use them if you are giving a 7 day course or something like that for new subscribers. But other than that, stay away from automated emails. People can tell when they receive an automated follow up email and will start by not opening it. If you continue doing this, they will probably start marking your emails as spam or unsubscribe from your list. To avoid this, build your relationship with your list by sending new content every other day. Make sure you send valuable content that is fresh. And stop trying to sell to them something. Well not really, but don’t make it obvious because people hate to be sold.
To be more effective, start by working on your subject lines. Most marketers do email marketing as if they are sending a corporate email to their boss. That is, they summarize their email in the subject line. If you do this, your chances for people to actually read your email are slim to none, they won’t even open it. This is because they can see from the subject line that you are trying to sell them something. And you guess it, they hate to be sold. So work on how you write your subject lines. Think outside the box. Write something catchy, weird, funny and off the wall to make them curios to see what’s in your email.
Most people think that writing an email is hard, however this is the easiest part. We already talked about the hard part, your subject line. If you wrote a good subject line, people will open your email. And when someone is reading your email, you have their full attention and will probably read the entire email, if it s not too long. So make them short and to the point, people hate long emails. Remember that this is email marketing, not email selling. The point of your email is the same as your subject line. To get people to take the next step, in this case, click on a link. In order to do this, you must build their curiosity. Give them a little bit more information, but don’t give it all away. Tell them it’s a secret. People are curios in nature and love to discover hidden secrets. Just look at the headline on this post and you might find the reason why you are reading it. The job of the email is to get them to want to click on the link. When your readers click on that link to your sales page, they should be interested and presold on what you are promoting. These simple secrets will make your followers more responsive to your emails and maximize your profits from your list.
